Houdek Transportation, Inc. has relationships with Class 1 railroads, major intermodal asset providers, and steamship companies, that enable us to present our customers with a flexible, reliable, cost-efficient intermodal transportation solution to their most difficult capacity requirements. By knowing railroad schedules and administering door-to-door movements, Houdek Transportation, Inc. bundles these components together and takes concerns off the table, start to finish (every mile).

Houdek Transportation, Inc. is a fast-growing intermodal drayage company. The fleet is dedicated to both short haul drayage within individual cities, working between ports, rail yards, and customer facilities, and long haul drayage to meet tight service requirements. We have interchange agreements with all service providers – railroads, private asset owners, and steamship companies – enabling us to handle freight efficiently and flexibly.

Transportation Service Recovery is another available option Houdek Transportation, Inc. can offer. When loads do not make the train or the freight needs to get to the customer just-in-time, Houdek Transportation, Inc. will utilize its drayage fleet to handle such requests. We can take the headache out of service recovery and expedited freight, Houdek Transportation, Inc. can handle it.
